U are misleading because u think democratic SYSTEM will change anything. But my question is how to apply? How to oragnize? in the simplest word: HOW TO CHANGE, and at meantime, the reform can keep a stable situation, which will benifit most Chinese people?
*** I said you might expect democratic system would fix every problems of China. Not me. It will change everything for sure. How China would move on to a democratic path is beyond my prediction. But one thing is sure, I can't imagine CCP will lead people to that destination. A couple of events have proved this.
Ur idea is simple: just copy the US's model, but it is clear that such a model will not work. Here again, I think you will eager to show the "sucess" of Taiwan's democracy. But this model has lost its credit due to the misleading of DDP, who is busying to domain all the power of Taiwan.
*** I never said copy US's. Democracy takes many forms, but core values and logic are same. I just say we could learn from those democracies. If you don't like US, how about France,Germany? What may happen in Taiwan remains to be seen, so far, only Mainlanders think it is a joke. My question is: when will Mainlanders stop daydreaming and truly interact with the rest of the world? Yes, I am talking about you. CCP has been dominating the power of the whole Mainland for years, now, you are not comfortable about DDP in Taiwan? Besides, your conclusion is yet to be proved. Please save it for a while until you have a more concrete proof.
The reason I mention black people in US is I want to explain a condition you never notice: 40 years has passed, the situation is not as good as it should be, and the slavery only lasted no more than 200 years. How about China? How about (at least) 2000 years tradition? I use the US as a sample only becasue the US is YOUR model, not MINE. Don't assume that everybody thinks as you do.I think China needs to deveolp a new model.
*** I never heard of US still have slavery system, not to mention notice this. You probably referring racial discrimination. Sorry, that is happening everywhere including China. You accusing of me again for something I did not say. CCP teaches you how to do this? What is your model? Any signs in China give you any idea that China is moving to "a new model"?
Again, the question is not change or not, the question is how to apply, based on today's China.
At last, I think that only a change in system will do little since the change needs various of other changes togther- socical ranks, economical structions and people's minds. Without these, it is only a mask on old face.
*** I remember in your previous post, you mentioned doing anything would do more harm than benefit. If I understand it correctly, you are not in favor of change. Now, you are suggesting certain change. What a heck, what exactly are you talking about?
*** Based on what you have written, should I assume that you agree that change is a must, but not sure how it will take place? And you assigned a couple of preconditions: social ranks(not sure about what this means), economic structures and people’s minds.
What is wrong with economic structures? What is wrong with people’s minds? Explain.
