Thank you for your advise and all the other friends' input.
*** YOU ARE WELCOME.
Yes, absolutely China needs democracy, and Chinese people need freedom. No doubt about it.
*** GOOD, WE DON’T HAVE FUNDEMENTAL DISAGREEMENT.
However, if a blind and misleading democratization that leads to chaos and anarchy, it is certainly not for the interest of Chinese people. I have been to some developing countries as well as developed nations. I saw their practices of democracy and the differences. People in that poor country fought on the street and set fire to their opponents’ houses. Also please look into Chinese history; whenever there was no strong leadership, there were many warlords killing each other in order to get that supreme position: Emperor. In addition, Hitler came into power with German people’s frenzy support UNDER A SYSTEM OF DEMOCRACY (Milt-Party, Election, and parliament).
*** WHEN DID I SUGGEST ‘BLIND AND MISLEADING DEMOCRATIZAITION”? HOW DO YOU KNOW DEMOCRATIZATION WOULD DEFINIATELY LEAD TO CHAOS AND ANARCHY? IN WHAT DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES, PEOPLE ARE BURNING OPPONENTS’HOUSES? CHINESE HISTORY ONLY PROVES THAT DICTATORSHIP BRINGS DISASTERS TO PEOPLE.
I am NOT intent to defend dictatorship here. I want to say that without the prevail of democratic spirit, any type of so-called democratic system will be a just political decoration to some degree.
*** YOU ARE DEFENDING DICTATORSHIP ACTUALLY. WELL, CHINA IS ALLOWED DEMOCRACY ONLY WHEN “DEMOCRATIC SPIRITS” PREVAILS? CCP CERTAINLY WON’T ALLOW THAT. YOUR PROPOSAL IS HOPELESS.
Taiwan started its democratic process just 15 years ago with many defects. Compared with USA, Taiwan’s democracy is only in infant stage. Yet I do believe that Taiwan’s experience could be transferred to Mainland China as long as Taiwanness want to join hands with Mainland people. Then it comes to the issue of Taiwan Independence. That is a matter of national interest; it has nothing to do with democracy.
*** PARTIALLY AGREE. TAIWAN IS NEW TO DEMOCRACY AND THEY HAVE A REASON TO BE PROUD OF THAT. MAINLAND WANTS TO MOVE DICTATORSHIP TO TAIWAN. THAT IS “ONE COUNTRY, TWO SYSTEMS” IS ALL ABOUT. OK, ASK CCP IF ANYONE AGREES A FEDERAL SYSTEM.
PS. We should draw a line between dictatorship and democracy for the discussion purpose. For we all know there is no absolute dictatorship and democracy.
*** IT IS ABSOLUTE. A DICTATORSHIP IS A DICTATORHSIP. A DEMOCRACY IS A DEMOCRACY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS HALF AND HALF. I CAN’T IMAGING THAT. EDUCATE ME.
