I am not sure how long it is normal for attorney to prepare materials before submitting to INS, I have sent my materials to them for three weeks (include the ThanksGiving holiday in the middle), they are still working on it. There is not much interaction between them and me after I sent the materials except signing the necessary forms. I hope since they got enough time, they could do their work well and my NIW could get approved.
