If the biopsy shows that the tumor is cancer, you need to remove every female organs including both ovaries, uterus, tubes, and cervical because the cancer likes to spread on these organs first. If the tumor is benign, you can preseve the good ovary, then you can have the natural manopause instead of surgical one. I had the surgical manopause, I did not have most manopause symptoms, but I have never had a very good sleep since the surgery. Each individual has different reaction though. Doctor will talk with you and help you make decision before the surgery.
