Here's a breakdown of PSA levels and their potential implications:
  • PSA below 4 ng/mL: Approximately 15% of men with this PSA level will have prostate cancer if a biopsy is performed, according to the American Cancer Society. 
     
  • PSA between 4 and 10 ng/mL (borderline range): About 25% of men in this range have prostate cancer. 
     
  • PSA above 10 ng/mL: The probability of prostate cancer is greater than 50%.
