alaska cruise

Hi,

I wanted to take my daughter US passport and my mom ( chinese pastport)  visit alaska in June.. .looking for good deals. questions:

1) she doesnt have multiple valid visa coming back to US as i just extended her B2 visa until December. Can we still go?
2) if we are waiving Canada visit, can we still stay on cruise instead?
3) i have green card, can i visit CA on my own or i have to apply CA visa as well?
4) do we need to fly into Seatle the day before the cruise depart, where do we need to book for the hotel in Seatle for overnight?  any recommded hotels?
