Contract Position:  IT - Data Center Specialist

Job Description: 
 
Responsible for the cost effective, reliable operation of the North America Data Center IT Systems including servers, network and data storage equipment. Includes break/fix problem resolution, incident management and escalation, problem, change management, and performance management. Responsible for IT systems project deployment and facilitation.
 
Manages change management for North America Data Center and insures alignment the with Information Asset plan. Works closely with Data Center Network Technicians, Mission Critical Facility teams, other IT departments and stakeholders/business units in areas pertaining to Network operations. Responsible for maintaining Service Level Agreements with all customers/partners

• Required PC Skills for the job:
o Solid IT Troubleshooting
o Familiarity with servers - Virtual, blade and physical
o Familiarity with network principles
o Able to perform network troubleshooting task
o Familiarity with enterprise storage arrays
o Fiber channel troubleshooting techniques
o Knowledge of IT power management principles
