Job Description:

Operational Excellence & Reliability Intelligence (OERI) is a data warehouse and Business Intelligence system that provides a web-based dashboard to all 7 global refineries. A Manufacturing Global Reporting system.

This application makes KPI's readily available to all users, to increase awareness of operations-related incidents and identify key performance areas in need of improvement. OERI uses Oracle Warehouse Builder to process data from over 50 external source systems, using basic OWB ETL's, VB scripts, and Java stored procedures. Once processed,  data is loaded into a star schema in an Oracle database that houses all of the associated views, procedures, and packages. Oracle APEX generates GUI dashboard and user reports.

 The role will provide third level support and work on enhancements for OERI as part of a small support team. in many cases, the person in this role will work directly with end users to troubleshoot and fix issues that arise. Though this role will be co-located, the support team will be spread out geographically, so solid communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision is a must.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 Strong Oracle Application Express (APEX) Experience – This experience is required
 Strong SQL skills
 Strong PL/SQL skills
 Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) experience
 VBScript
 Competent Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) skills
 Competent JavaScript skills (jQuery or similar library would be a bonus)
 Experience working with STAR schemas
