Contract Position: Web-Mobile UX Designer

                           for design and development of large-scale web and mobile portal  

Contract Duration: 6 Months to Start; leading to long term assignment

Position Summary:

 

The UX Designer is responsible for creating an intricate mobile- and web-based architecture and interface designs to support the training and development of Company’s vast technical community and the business goals of the Global Knowledge Management Unit.

 As part of the Global Knowledge Management team, the UX Designer should be creative and technically dexterous, and particularly adept in creating persona-based use case scenarios, designing interactive user experiences and developing wireframes for mobile, tablet and desktop devices

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand and define in simple and technical terms the problem, vision and solution
• Employ user-centered methodology to meet standards for navigation, layout and labeling, and to design functionality that accommodates multiple user scenarios and needs, and
• Communicate solution approach through user and data flows, use cases, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and specifications
• Create test scripts and participate in testing
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst on the final development and presentation of business and functional requirements

Requirements:
• Experience in collaborating on the design and development of large-scale web and mobile portal applications
• Experience using principles of user-centered design and large-scale information design involving large systems, complex relationships, and data and task flows
• Understanding of and experience with web technologies including both front-end and back-end applications
• Experience developing metadata strategies
• Experience with SharePoint Designer, Visio, Axure RP, Adobe CS5.5 or above
• Excellent written, oral and diagrammatic communication skills

• HTML5, CSS, .Net Framework
