Global Knowledge Management Project Manager:

• Lead the facility upgrade project through development and management of a fully resourced project plan with interdependencies and the critical path.

This is to include:
o Requirements Gathering
o Room Builds/Updates – working with Company's Business & Real Estate Services
o Equipment including IT needs
o Software
o Ergonomics
o Usability
o Documentation
o Transition to support / sustainability

• Facilitate all project team meetings.

• Be the primary back up of the Program Manager for escalation.

• Lead the team in completing all (Waterfall) phase deliverables per project plan.
• Lead engagement with the project’s Decision Executive and Decision Review Board throughout the project lifecycle and especially during phase gates.
• Regularly present project status to the organization Leadership Team and to any other stakeholders.
• Resolve any resource related issues in the project.
• Document, monitor and manage all risks related to the project.

Required Background/Experience/Skills:
• Understand the general project management processes, specifically working on facility/construction upgrades.
• Has a general understanding of facility upgrades and usability determination.
• Understand and is able to work within a global organization. The ability to interface across different functional groups and multiple users for the facility.
• Ability to be agile in responding to priority/schedule/scope changes.
• Demonstrated strong analysis and problem solving skills.
• Ability to set clear tactical expectation for team members in order to support identified milestones and deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate the creation and maintenance of an overall integrated program/project plan with the various stakeholder contacts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desired Skills/Experience:
• Well versed in property and facility planning and upgrades.
• Oil & Gas experience, specifically with Waterfall Methodology is a plus.
• Experience in construction, design, facility usability, or other building industry experience is a plus.
