Job Overvview

Beginner Oracle DBA; The ideal candidate would be in the 3-7 years experience range.

REQUIRED: PL/SQL programming, SQL coding, reporting and querying.

Oracle DBA with solid knowledge of Oracle8i/Oracle9i RDBMS fundamentals. Network configuration. Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts from both PC & server standpoint.

Oracle database utilities. Oracle backup & recovery fundamentals with hands-on experience in both areas.

Windows knowledge of OS commands, utilities, schedulers and kernel parameters.

Data modeling, database design. Performance tuning & analysis. Database disk space maintenance including tablespace, table, index reorganization and trace file cleanup.

Oracle software installs and relinks. Apply database server software updates & patches. Create database objects - users, roles, tables, indexes.

Perform database loads, migrate databases between servers, remove discontinued databases. System maintenance and IP security checking scripts. Respond to 24/7 database system threshold monitoring events.

Business Objects is not a required job responsibility.

2. Contract Position: Web Developer

Project Description:

Looking for a front-end web developer with .NET experience or similar server-side scripting experience.

Company does not utilize WYSIWYG editors and as such the developer should be an expert at hand-coding XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.

The front-end developer will be needed to build and maintain internal and external facing websites, computer-based training modules and mobile websites using the Company internal .NET templates and coding standards.

Basic image manipulation and editing skills will be required, using Photoshop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hand-code XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Coordinates with project managers to deliver changes to clients
• Assists with website design and information architecture

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Proficiency in at one server-side scripting language (e.g. ASP, PHP)

Highly Desired Skills:
• VB.net and C#
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, especially Section 508
• Usability expert (CUA)

3. Contract Position : IBM Datastage Admin

Contract Duration: Initial 6 Months to start

Job Description:-

Required Qualifications:
• 6-8 years minimum experience as an analyst on IBM Datastage V 8.1/8.5/8.7(building Sequences, jobs)
• Utilize automation tools to schedule, execute, and monitor Datastage jobs;
• Design of the ETL interfaces using standard practices.
• Performance tune the application to meet operational production requirements;
• Develop and execute, in conjunction with the Datastage Leads, Quality checks and Release schedules
• Implement audit, balance and controls per business requirements;
• Design and code functions of the application in accordance with the Datastage standards and architectural guidelines;
• Execute test plans and document results and discrepancies
• Prepare applicable Datastage interface supporting documentation
• 1-3 year’s experience working on MS Access Databases ( 2003, 2007 version)
• Good Understanding on RCP, FTP, SFTP scripts on Unix environment
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.

Job Overview:  

• Progressing multiple projects with simultaneous activities in several geographic locations.

• Lead and carryout the design, procurement, construction and start-up for projects, which may have significant technical and operational challenges.

 Required Qualifications: 

• Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years experience with facilities design and construction in the oil & gas, chemical or power industries.

• Fluent with design, construction, safety codes and regulations.
