Some times asking one's national origin can be considered discrimination.

特别是在谈话双方具有商业关系的时候，这样引起civil rights issue。比如这个餐馆经理。但在中国当前社会条件下，这类事情很常见，大家也都不在意。观念上就这样，所以civil rights的问题，短期很难解决的。

如果没有商业关系存在，也许简单一点，只要没有刑事的成分，最多会被人认为不够道德，也不会有什么别的影响。

But I have a quetion, where about this is fun? At the manufacturer site, or the restaurant?
