As a US citizen and an Assembly District XX resident, I strongly oppose SCA 5 which has been passed in the State Senate recently. It suggests to re-impose racial and ethnic preferences on the University of California and the California State University
systems.

I support Prop. 209, which banned discrimination: “The state shall not discriminate against, or grant
preferential treatment … on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity or
national origin.”

I wish you vote “NO” on SCA 5.
