Not all 东北抗联 belongs to GCD.  Many of them were self-grouped people and others were bandits in nature.  After Jap's surrendering, both GCD and KMT tried to pull them toward their sides.  Many of the bandit groups in the novel 林海雪原 were originally in 东北抗联 sometime before but were pulled to KMT side.
