有了执照, 你不能自己做生意, 必须挂靠在一个公司之下。只能以公司的名誉做生意。具体是你属于公司的一个designated broker.

Technically, 是你的broker own the transactions and the commissions and the liabilities. 所以the commission is paid to your broker, not you. Your broker split the commission with you.

If there is something wrong with the transaction, somebody will sue your broker and the company, not you. So that is why your broker take big cut out of your commission.

Usually you don't have to pay your broker, but you have to pay associations, mls to keep your license active.
