想种竹子，不知离房子多远才安全？

想种竹子，不知离房子多远才安全？想在我房子的前侧方向种竹子，周围都有水泥坪，离房子最近也有

7-8尺水泥坪，我想竹子根总不会穿过那么远吧？谢谢！
