it is City College of New York, or CCNY. admission to CCNY/CUNY used to be free, when first/second generation jewish kids dominated campus. CUNY went down quickly after NYC bankruptcy in the 80s, which allowed the NY state to take over. the college boasted 11 nobel laurates b/f 80s.
