16.2% after today's bloody sell off

Just checked my own account, it is up 16.2% as of today (my 401K is up 8.9% on the other hand). Even though it is less than last year's performance, I am happy with this result, since this was achieved without any China-related high fliers. Compared to my own benchmark, SP500 Index, my performance is leading about 12% this year, as compared to last year's leading of 10%. My goal is to lead SP500 5% annually.

The honor goes to Garmin (GRMN), EnCanada (ECA), France Telecom (FTE), ConocoPhilipp (COP), and my old friend Philip Morris (Altria, MO).

The blame goes to losers (really goes to myself) AIG, Home Depot (HD), and Kokomin Bank (Korea National Bank, KB).
