Who to vote for

I think most ppl on TZLC would agree on Republican's idea of small government and free captalism. We abhor the entitlement created by Democratic Party's policy. However the 80-20 Initiative advocates to vote for 08. There are two valid reasons.

1. From track record, O8 has done some good things for Chinese/Asian with the influence of Asian Groups. He appointed most Asian Federal Judges and include Asian Americans in the enforcement of Executive Order 11246. In another word, when government and large corp need to diversify, Asian wasn't counted as minority. Now it is changed by O8.  http://www.80-20initiative.net/

2. As a minority group, we Chinese need strong government power to ensure equal opportunity and fair society rules. This is particularly needed when economic is bad and many American is falling off the ladder due to globalization. There is more risk of racial hatred and mob activity now than in 90s and 00s.
