评上Tenure后的教授，日子不都好过

且不说tenure制度要取消（https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?fromEmail=true&formkey=dFJRR1BYYVRoYmlYQmd3OVBCOXRtRGc6MQ）。

即使不取消，也有难看的时候。Yale有一老教授曾是业界鼎鼎有名的人物，评上tenure后不思上进。后来funding无以为继，Yale给了他一段grace period后仍无起色，只好把他那人去楼空的试验室收了，剩下一狭小的办公室。没有了所有手下，孤身只影juan缩在那里。曾是辉煌的风云人物，落下被人轻看的地步。
