When are you going to retire? It makes huge difference if you retire before or after 67 (When medicare is available). Any IRA? Do you have pension? What is your monthly expenses in today's $$ for your retirement life? Long term care? How much do you want to leave to your kids? Highly possible, you get enough $$ for your life style without considering helping kids.I suggest having a nice planning so you can get STABLE income regardless of stock market or housing market, then enjoy life.
