求教: 出租房的邻居和我雇的工人之间的纠纷应该如何处理呢? 详情如下

townhouse, 我的刷漆工今天一早来,停到我的parking lot 上, 于邻居的车之间有一个lot相隔, no car in between but only a lot. 等我来以后,邻居(She)说她的车窗被我的工人给砸碎了. 可是工人们说不是, 不知道这码事. I asked her if she could identify which painter did it,or if she heard any sound. She said she was not at home when this happened. No witness can identify who broke her window. She called her own insurance, and was told to rent a car.

Now she is asking me to pay for her rental. should I pay her? 新新小小地主没有经验如何处理这种事, 谢谢大家指教.
