as long as it is true and have receipts, IRS doesn't care. If you input it into this 7 fileds, they will be added into your rental property's adjusted cost and be depreciated in as long as 27.5 years.
By the way, turbotax filing fees is supposed to fill into this 'legal & professional' field too, see the IRS Pub 527.
If you understand the Pub 527 in another way, the Appraisal fee can be in this same field too.
In short, as long as it is true, IRS doesn't care where you input it -- you can always ask for forgiveness if got audited, and no one cares about your tens dollars charges.
