Foreclosures Down in 61 Major Markets

There was a host of encouraging news in the National Foreclosure Report for February released by CoreLogic this morning. Foreclosures, the foreclosure inventory, and the pipeline clearing ratio all posted improving numbers. Investment Home Sales Surged 64.5 Percent in 2011

Sales of investment homes surged by what the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) called " an extraordinary 64.5 percen t" in 2011, soaring from 749,000 the previous year to 1.23 million.
