Just saw this news about "Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/FHA  will release 1/4 million properties in short time"

Hold on your cash now.  Be ready to buy in 3-12 months from now.  Do not use all you cash.  Other banks could do the same. The properties prices will drop more, IMO.
