"What made 1930 depression greater is not about market's decline, it is the capital being wiped out from debt market. Market will eventually rise. That is why I am long  stocks and short bonds".

Anyone plans to own Euro bonds and US bonds for long term is foolish, that includes savings bonds, I-bonds, treasury, etc.

My philosophy about investing is major trends. Major trends do reverse. Assets price does collapse and takes decades to recover. So what to invest is highly based on our own understanding of cycles, waves, etc. (Rest trading posts here in my view are just noises.)

Disclaimer: I do own I-bonds which paying more than 6% over a decade now. But I have no plan to continue holding it. LOL
