The conspiracy story is China is short paper and long physical gold so they can buy more.

Never understand the stupidity of monetary authorities. Otherwise, how Great Brittan sold off their gold reserve at $300 range?

Simply ask this:

1) has soveiren crisis resolved?

2) are western government balanced their budget?

3) Are banking system solvent?

If the answers are no, then buy with both hands.
