the amateur D system is so screwed up.... when I was in college, a 4D gave me 2 stone handicap.... then when I lived in another big city, I had to give 2 stones to a 4D there! go figure.

used to be 4D on IGS, but haven't played for so long, prolly down to IGS 2D now.
