请问投坦兄弟姐妹们。credit report 有criminal record

男的有3个，2019一个，2020俩个

女的有一个， 2018

他们说不知道怎么回事，说他们很干净，没做过什么事，不知道是不是错了，他说他给政府做nucleic demonishion 的machinc, 政府已经给他查了个底翻天。

然后，他们从NC搬到加州已经很多年，一直住宾馆，在NC也没有rental reference， 说是住他哥哥家

男的是两儿子的step father

总觉得有点不对

大家觉得可以相信他们吗？
