Please change the time to actual date and time. I think it would be nice to have a paper trail of what happened.
Dear Landlord,
Your communication dated Friday 2 PM is received.
On Thursday 12 PM we emailed you a signed copy of a lease, which lacks a signature from a representative from your company. Thereafter we contacted you on Thur. 2 PM to withdraw from our lease. At the time of the withdrawal we did not have a lease with signatures from both parties. Therefore, the lease copy from 12 PM was merely an offer that was effectively withdrawn by us at 2 PM Thursday.
We now received a signed lease dated yesterday. However, we did not received your signed lease before our withdrawal on Thursday 2 PM. Therefore we deem the lease copy received on Friday not an effective acceptance of our Thursday 12 PM offer, therefore no lease agreement was formed between us.
We appreciate your time and sorry that we will not be renting from you at this time.
Sinerely
