Fraud Alert会影响信用吗？

在screeing一个申请人，我用的是e-renter.com，申请人是个级别比较高的会计，他在申请的时候把CreditWise, by CitiBank的信用报告给我，分数很好》700.但是e-renter.com却说他的信用分数不过关（我设置的分数是620就算过关）。这个是他给我的回信：

 

I’m 100% confident that the Fraud Alert I have placed w/the 3 credit bureaus is what is causing the “failure”.  I’ve already been notified by the Fraud Alert that eRent tried to pull my credit, and the notifications indicated that they were unsuccessful attempts.  I would have to call the bureaus to find out how to go about letting the eRent application pull the credit, and I have no idea what that would require, or how long it would take.

 

没有过fraud alert的经验，大家说这个说辞靠谱吗？他是当地人，在外地工作了几年又回来了。他自己有这里有房子，不过特别大，我的这个出租房size正好适合他。
