Most of us are not equipped to time the market either in real estate or equity markets. Short term trading of real estate and equity is not advisable for general public. It is very speculative activities. Then, you will ask me whether there are any successful stories, I will tell you YES, but not you. You will ask me why, I will tell you becasue you are 凡人!
Some of you might not buy it. OK, let me ask you this. Did you buy Bank of America stock in Feb. 2009 when the price was at $2.51 and sold at $18 in just 6 months, then buy at $7 in Nov. 2011 and sold at $16 in Nov. 2014, then buy at 12 on Feb. 11, 2016 and sold at $25 in Feb. 2017. These activities are very speculative and it is very hard to time the market for this BAC stock.
Most of us can be long term investors. Buy and hold whether in real estate or equity investment, just like Warren Buffett. It is a proven strategy and used by Warren.
