大家帮参谋一下：这钱该不该付？

最近买了一投资房，close 前，agent 说，有租客，但并没给我租约。但在close 的当天才发现，租客已搬走。agent 说，如不close, 我的$2500 earnest money将拿不回来。于是，我close了，同时stop payment了我交的earnest money支票。因为没有租客，我有至少空一个月和付找租客的佣金的损失。我请agent帮助与卖方协商，补偿损失。但agent 见我已close了，根本就没帮。一气之下，就将交的支票止付了。title company 没等支票兑现，就close了。过一个月，title company 才发现，现在要我付，否则要找我麻烦。我本想，title company 能早发现，不close, 那样我就可以和卖方谈补偿。现在已close了，title company 认为我不对， 它招受损失了。但我认为title company 有过失，也应承担责任。
