不时听到说周围有人说，自己为疼校小孩付24万学费

我听到过不少人说自己小孩在疼校，一年家长要付6万，四年24万，blah blah。

其实我觉得他们除了在吹嘘以外，没有别的目的.  

  1.  他们在吹嘘自己的小孩如何优秀，
  2.  他们在吹嘘自己如何有钱。

他(她)们的小孩在疼校这个基本上假不了，假的是24万。

  • 一般进疼校总会有点scholarship，你或许说你的income实在太高，拿不到need based的钱，但能进疼校的National Merit Scholarship总能拿一点吧?
  • 那个6万元费用是学校估计的max值，你如果在外面租房、自己做吃的，会省不少。
  • 能进疼校的，一般summer都会有intern，理工科的收入也不是很低的，几年下来，一定能cover好几万吧?
  • 能进疼校的，一般会早毕业，很少有人足足读了4整年的。  

所以，以后再听到谁说自己替小孩付24万学费，就直接告诉他，不要桦胖(上海人说: 摆阔)!
