facinated with their culture and Inca Road. I am surprised to see that in the old times, the Inca Road, including the part you were trekking on, didn't allow an ordinary people to walk on without an official permit. It was used for government, military and religious purposes only.  The bridges, if made out of ropes, must have got burned every two years for a new one.

Literally, Spanish destoyed the Inca civilization.
