ruby和pink sapphire还有orange sapphire按GIA标准是有界线的，因为颜色是很personal的，每个人的认识不同，GIA是用比色石来客观鉴定。理论上的definition是from orange red to purplish red, red should be the primary color hue。pink sapphire是red to purplish red in light tone. that's the reason i consider the stone below as a pink sapphire。

Burmese ruby并不是都有flouresence，只有富含chromium的有，也只限于某个mine，产量已非常低，90年代缅甸新发现的矿几乎都需要heated。
