Shoe fairy says happy Halloween

I usually do some intense upkeep for my meager dress shoe collection upon season change. And yesterday was the day. To most outliers, it sure looked like a penance :) but to me, it was certainly a quite euphoric task. Horse for courses.

Without further ado, here are shitload pictures for your viewing pleasure.

for any discerning gentleman, shoe trees are a must for any shoes one does really care about. The difference wtith or without them is like day and night. Most proper fit generic shoe tress will just do the job fine.  However, lasted shoe trees are for the perfectionist.  Besides, a pair of well sculpted shoe trees is a piece of art in its own right.

Some examples that I like the most. 1) three piece boot trees

2) Hinged shoe trees by Anthony Cleverley

3) mahogany shoe trees by Gaziano & Girling
