sure, and if you're used to white rice,
you could try adding some brown rice and slowly increase the ratio of brown rice. This could take some time to get used to. When I cook rice now, I use 2 cups of brown rice, 1 cup of white rice, 1 cup of organic quinoa, and 1/2 cup of wheat bran (for its soluble fiber). For bread, the same thing, try to stay with whole wheat, whole grains.
