朋友Sandy夫妻，在十多年前的大热天，呼朋唤友挥汗掌勺，给我家"哥哥"操办Baby Shower。在大包小包的Baby Shower礼物里，有一张Sandy精心准备的催眠曲CD，多少年来一直陪着我们。最初是半夜里起来喂奶的时候我自己听，渐渐发现"哥哥"烦躁想哭的时候放一段"Baby Sleep"就会安静下来，"哥哥"长大以后，这张CD又换到"妹妹"房间的机器上去放,效果也是一样显著。

孩子们长大一些以后, 我开始有闲心收集古典音乐的CD，也有意识地在"哥哥妹妹"上床睡觉以后，在他们房间的音响上, 很轻声地放个把小时的名家名曲, 希望能够因此潜移默化。"哥哥"现在有时候也会投我所好地和我讨论讨论萧邦或者柴可夫斯基。每每过了一阵，我们却又会不约而同地回过头来听几天"Baby Sleep"里的抒曼圣桑柴可夫斯基伯拉牟斯莫扎特，以及那些半熟不生不知作曲家的曲子。

这一张合家喜欢的CD，是会一路一直听下去的。

多年以后孩子们长大了，那时候的"Baby Sleep"对于我们大人，又会有不同的意义。一段段名曲的背后，伴随了一段段孩子们成长的过程。这样的一个Baby Shower礼物，俨然成为了我们一家的最爱，可以算是礼物里的极品了。
