There were lots of white gowns at the Oscars, but the most unusual one had to be Paltrow's Tom Ford ensemble. The dress itself was perfectly lovely, but the cape was bizarre. Thankfully, she shed it once she hit the stage to present Best Documentary Feature. Too bad her helmet hair was still there.----D

The actress' black Atelier Versace gown featured a thigh-slit, which the daring Jolie worked every chance she got throughout the night. At the end of her stems? Salvatore Ferragamo peep-toe pumps.----A+
