Oh my god what familiar scenes! me and my hu*****and sailed two days from Kafalonia to the island of crete, Chania was where docked. Fabulous restaurant right at the marina. I loved it because of the sailing was so serene through the ionian sea, no wind, we used the motor the whole way. afterwards sailing north through the Aegean sea was a total different story, pure hell that was, struggling through every wave, produced by the infamous Meltami.
Chania is beautiful and with total old world charm. picture perfect everywhere you look.
