look for an instructor first, then decide what camera system :)

find out who uses canon or nikon in this place, follow one of them, then is your system.

you may find your canon instructor ask you to buy a nikon, as he/she found you had better using Nikon (similar in school, one professor would say you should follow another professor as your interest more towards opposite). so talk to them privately !
