英语 idiom ::::: Silver lining -- 常被翻译为“一线希望”,形容乐观的事态或“看似不好的事情也会有好的一面”等等,源自英文的“Every cloud has a silver lining./每块乌云后都有一线明亮的银色(衬里)”。
这个惯用语的使用可追溯到十九世纪。我查到的几个例子如下:
