Now I know why my pictures lack of contract ... ...

Was at a studio shoot today.  When view my shot with another photog, my shot is always way too pale.  He took a look and said the problem is I shot with a nuke lens - lens without hood.   

I was under the impression that you use a hood when there are sun shine. Apparently, that is wrong.  The strobes from different angle will significantly reduce sharpness and contrast with a hood. 

We are shooting again next Saturday and we will test that theory.
