Minneapolis -- 面粉之都

离开华盛顿DC之前，以为十月中旬的Minneapolis 天气会很冷，出了机场，暖风迎面吹来。记得两年前这个季节，明州可是冻死很多牛群的地方。
走在曾经在历史上被称为面粉工业之都(Mill City)的市中心，蓝天之下，空气清新的让人感受不到呼吸。一些非常有特色的建筑在街与衔之间被一座座玻璃天桥连接在一起，似乎终于让我找到了天冷的证据。奇怪的是，地铁是在地面上，而且没有像纽约或DC的自动验票口，一切都是凭每个人的自觉，实在的中西部。
站在St. Anthony Lock and Dam所在地的密西西比河另一岸，星空之下，看着河对岸的市中心高楼，身后偶尔跑过喜欢户外运动的年轻人，突然觉得，这座城市也应该被称为水都，因为眼前最先看到的是水。
