our Sheema is the same, but

When she first arrived, nobody could touch her. She would ran away when we raise our hand, even though our only intention was to pamper her. When we feed her, she only eats after we walked far away. If we throw treats to her, she quickly fetch the food and ran away... She shivered all the time. She stayed far away from us, watching our every move alertly. She would nib when we pick her up...

but deep down there is that sweet little girl. She nibbled us many times, but never ever actually made us feel any pain, not even a bit... We could never find her, as she hided so well somewhere dark and remote. But when we were concerned and called her name, if we look back, she would be there quietly following us already... She melts our hearts ...


She knows to cuddle up with us now, especially with daddy, who she was most afraid of. When we see her greeting daddy with her little wet nose, lying so comfy and confident on daddy's lap, it just feels soooooo very very ... nice :)
