回复：NIW,可否回国等排期

Pjing, 你好。NIW 140 批准后，排期还有两年。 可否回国等排期，从国内递交485，办移民签证？若可以，具体怎么操作？

自己感觉不可以，NIW是基于雇佣的绿卡，人没有在美国，没有美国的工作。只凭以 前批准的140 ，在境外办绿卡，恐怕不行。找你确认以下。

-You need to find a job in US before you apply for the immigration visa in China when the PD is current.

第二选择；可否是排期前，再找个美国的博士后，用H1b签证入境后，递交485。可否

-Yes as long as the job is in the same/similar area as that indicated in the NIW I-140.
