-Postdoc does not work, but he can use different job title such as research associate, research scientist, etc. Anyway, the job should have no specific term and can be renewable, etc.

 另外，在pd 当前情况下，从国内办移民签证大约需等多久？

-He/she needs to file I-824 first before the PD is current, then when the PD current, he/she can apply for the immigrationm visa. Normally it will take 4 to 6 months from the date the PD becomes current.

太长了，美国教授可能不会等。若这样，只好让他给办个h1b签证,来美国后，再交485，办绿卡。
