试译叶芝的 A Drinking Song

 

叶芝（W. B. Yeats）是我最爱的英语诗人，没有之一。最爱的诗有，Down by the Salley Gardens（经柳园而下），When You Are Old（当你老时）和 The Lake Isle of Innisfree(茵纳斯弗利岛)。

这首小诗我是从一本英文的叶芝诗选里看到的，可能不是太出名。我很喜欢，试着翻译一下。

A Drinking Song                        酒歌

Wine comes in at the mouth            美酒总是饮入口中

And love comes in at the eye;         爱情总是直达眼底

That’s all we shall know for truth   这是众所周知的真相呵

Before we grow old and die.           直到我们变老死去
