失业率久高不下说明全球生产力过剩。经济全球化把低技术，低能力的岗位全移到亚非拉，造成没有工作经验及技能的年青人失业率图升。同时，先进技术的运用使劳动力大大提高，特别是在劳动力密集产业，造成生产力过剩。
